Hi! I’m Emma and I am the founder and lead strategist @ Superbloom Learning Group. Before founding Superbloom, I built Learning and Development teams at multiple startups, where I oversaw learning strategy for employees at all stages of the employee lifecycle — from new hire onboarding through senior leadership development.
Prior to moving into corporate talent development, I worked in non-profits and K-12 public schools in New Orleans as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, leadership development facilitator, and program manager.
I hold a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Stanford’s Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Cornell University.
I currently live in the Bay Area, CA (where I was born and raised). When I’m not creating/facilitating learning experiences, you can find me cooking, dancing, or walking the hills of San Francisco with my hubby Andrew and our dog Charlie.
Testimonials
“I feel so fortunate to have met Emma just as I was stepping into a Learning and Development role. As my mentor, she provided me with tools and guidance that were crucial in allowing me to seamlessly jump into leading a function that I was otherwise brand new to. Thanks to Emma's infectious energy and empowering creativity, I always ended our sessions feeling inspired and confident in my ability to tackle my L&D objectives. I truly cannot imagine a more knowledgeable, enjoyable, or productive thought partner and leader in the talent development space!”

"I had the pleasure of working with Emma from Superbloom Learning, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our collaboration began during our time at Better.com, where her exceptional organizational skills and ability to bring clarity to complex ideas stood out. When I started my own educational company, I immediately reached out to Emma for her expertise. She effortlessly transformed my scattered notes and ideas into a meticulously structured curriculum that exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Emma, I now have a curriculum that I am truly proud of, and she has undoubtedly brought me peace of mind throughout the entire process."

Our Learning Design Process
Identify Problem Statement(s)
We work with our partners and audience to align on the problem(s) we’re trying to solve.
Conduct Discovery
We conduct a thorough discovery process and organize key learnings.
Identify Root Issues
Our learnings help us identify the root issues contributing to our original problem statement(s).
Create Solutions
Once we’ve identified root issues, we can begin creating solutions.
Test Interventions
We throughly test all solutions to ensure they lead to the impact we hope to see; this also gives us the opportunity to assess for any unintended outcomes.
Measure Impact
With solutions in place, we use qualitative and quantitative data to measure how interventions meet the intended goals.
Our Values
-
We begin by seeking to understand others…
-
And keep our eyes open to the ways that racism and injustice create an unequal world. We work to counter these patterns by grounding our work in equity…
-
Because ultimately, we aim to create a world where everyone feels a sense of authentic belonging…
-
And only after laying these foundational conditions can we provide meaningful interventions and experiences to support healthy growth among individuals and teams...
-
At every stage of our work, we are assessing the impact the work is having as it relates to the project goals… and beyond.
